My Hope: Building a Stronger Community Together

Hello, neighbors and friends!

This site was created out of a deep dedication to our community’s well-being and a commitment to sound, transparent governance.

A Legacy of Financial Strength

For five years, I had the privilege of serving as your Condo Board President. During this critical time, our board focused intensely on restoring the association’s financial health. We successfully navigated an extremely challenging period, taking an association that was near bankruptcy—facing a staggering $1.4 million in uncollected debt—and restoring its stability. We were in default on one of the two bank loans. In a short period of time they had paid over $11,000 in late fees to vendors. Over $83,540 in waived late fees in a few short years.

There was a manager who was absentee for a great deal of time, was deemed a liability by the management company: FSR. They wanted to remove him. I was told by two people at FSR that our board president threatened to fire FSR if the manager was removed from our property.

In 2014 the prior board hired / trusted a convicted felon whose license was revoked by the state to install $2,000,000 HVAC system that had to be completely replaced in less than five years.

Through determined action and responsible fiscal management, we reduced that debt to a manageable level, demonstrating that strong leadership and focused effort can achieve incredible results. This turnaround secured the financial footing of our association for the future.

Focusing on the Future: Transparency and Planning

The lessons learned during my tenure, especially the critical need for diligence and owner participation, are more relevant than ever.

This website is dedicated to providing the fact-based transparency that our community deserves.

I am committed to sharing documented information and news regarding the current Board’s actions. My hope is to eliminate speculation and ensure every owner has the facts needed to make informed decisions about our shared home.

Crucially, we must look ahead. In just six years, our association will face the mandatory 50-Year Certification. This major milestone is not only a regulatory requirement but will also necessitate substantial funding and diligent planning. Based on our past experience with the 40-Year Certification, we know that preparation must begin now to avoid large, sudden financial burdens on our unit owners.

A Call for Ongoing Vigilance

It is my sincere hope that we can all work together to ensure a future marked by good governance, fiscal prudence, and an absence of misinformation.

Your Voice Matters!

Our association is a community of 316 unit owners, and every single voice is important. I urge you to:

  • Visit this site regularly for fact-based updates on our current operations, sign up for the update email when posts are added.
  • Attend the meetings. Your presence is the strongest form of accountability.
  • Seek proof. When you hear a rumor, request reliable, documented information.

Let’s return to a culture of informed, constructive dialogue, and proactively plan for our community’s long-term success.

If you have questions or wish to share constructive feedback, please use the contact form. This space is dedicated to building a better community, and polite, focused contributions are always welcome.
