Fire Alarms: Do You Still Take Them Seriously?
Between 6:14 PM and 6:26 PM on Tuesday, the fire alarm went off five times. Each time, residents were told to evacuate.
Do you still leave the building every time?
After so many false alarms, many people don’t — and that’s the real risk.
It took nine minutes for residents to be told whether the alarm was real or not. In this building, that’s considered very fast.
After recent early-morning false alarms, fire extinguishers suddenly appeared in hallways.
Why the change? Why now? What problem is being addressed?
