Our association manager Karina Perez was terminated today.
If you’re keeping count, this is the fourth manager dismissed in less than 26 months under the current board president. Why such high turnover?
That means yet another period of understaffing in the office, another disruption, and another cycle of onboarding and training a new manager.
This level of turnover is not normal
It creates uncertainty, lowers morale, and reinforces a culture of fear and job insecurity among staff.
And when that happens, who suffers?
We all do.
Can you guess how many assistant managers and administrative staff have come and gone during this same period?
At this point, perhaps we should install a revolving door in the management office — it would make things easier for our never-ending staff changes passing through.
