Final Recap

Did you have any thoughts about the questions raised?

Posted on February 6, 2026February 10, 2026 by Ken

Over the past several days, a series of short posts highlighted issues that many residents have noticed individually — but may not have connected as a whole.

When viewed together, a consistent pattern emerges.

Safety & Core Services

  • Repeated FALSE fire alarms with delayed or unclear communication
  • Elevator #2 out of service for months with no explanation or timeline
  • Other elevators go out of service, with no notification that they are repaired

These are not conveniences. They are basic building functions.

Maintenance & Priorities

  • A two-year delay in garage painting and cleaning, completed only in one specific area that may be self serving
  • Construction projects proceeding without estimated completion dates

This raises questions about how priorities are set and who benefits first.

Transparency & Financial Oversight

  • 2024 audited financials remain unavailable, now well past the legal deadline
  • Major projects discussed without finalized scope, costs, or timelines

Lack of Transparency should be very scary in any Condo or HOA

Owners cannot make informed decisions without timely, complete information.

Governance & Owner Participation

  • Meetings scheduled at the last legally permissible moment
  • Notices posted just minutes beyond the minimum requirement
  • Meeting times that limit participation, except when meetings are closed to board only participants

Meeting the minimum legal standard is not the same as good governance.

The Real Question

Question Mark w Magnifier

None of these observations stand alone. Together, they point to a larger issue:

Is this board focused on transparency, safety, and owner involvement — or on doing only what is technically required and potentially self serving?

That’s not an accusation.
It’s a question every owner deserves to ask.

Strong communities are built on:

  • Clear communication
  • Responsible planning
  • Accountability
  • Respect for the people who live here

If you’ve felt uneasy but couldn’t quite put your finger on why, you’re not alone.
The goal of these posts was never to provoke — only to connect the dots.

The conversation should not end here.
