Another Day, Another False Alarm
At approximately 11:30 AM, another fire alarm sounded in the building.
48 minutes later — there was still no official communication confirming whether the alarm was real or false.
Residents are left asking the same question each time:
“Should I stay or should I go?”
That may be the title of a well-known 1982 song by The Clash — but it should not apply to life-safety decisions in 2026 at Brickell Key One.
When alarms sound without timely clarification, residents are forced to make critical safety decisions without reliable information.
This is not just frustrating — it is a serious safety concern.
Perhaps this is something that should be addressed at tomorrow’s board meeting.
