Thinking Ahead

As of today — Sunday, March 22 — we can already predict how the next board meeting will unfold.

What We Know

• There will be a board meeting within the next 9 days
• Notice will likely come late — often within ~48 hours of the meeting
• A Sunday “Presidents Info Letter” will arrive, the first since the two immediately before the December election

That pattern has become predictable.

What We Still Don’t Know

Despite all of this, the real issues remain unanswered:

Will Owners Be Heard?

At the last three meetings, owner questions and comments have been limited or disregarded.
Will this meeting be any different?

Elevator #2 — 5 Now Months Out of Service

Why has one of our elevators been down for this long?

As of this writing we effectively rely on just two full-service elevators for the entire building. One of which is for freight hence deliveries, moving in / out.
Residents on higher floors are already feeling the impact with longer wait times.

Where is the urgency?
Where is the update?

Fire Alarm System

False alarms continue.

When an alarm sounds:
Is it real?
Is it another test?
Should residents evacuate — or ignore it?

This is not a minor inconvenience.
This is a life-safety issue.

Second Floor Elevator Lobby

This project has now dragged on for months — despite a contract signed six months ago.

What is the delay?
Why are there no visible permits posted?
When will it be completed?

$72,000 Key Fob System

We now have a new system — but many residents say it is worse than before.

• What happened to promised access improvements for storage rooms and the gym?
• Why is it difficult to obtain additional or backup fobs?

What problem did this solve?

Bigger Issue Graphic

These are not isolated problems.

They reflect a pattern:

• Delays without explanation
• Decisions without transparency
• Projects without clear timelines
• Communication after the fact — if at all

Owners are left to fill in the gaps.

This Meeting Matters

If you’ve been frustrated, this is the moment to act.

Show up.
Ask questions.
Expect answers.

When attendance is low, it is easy to ignore concerns.
When owners are present and engaged, it becomes much harder.

We Have To Step Up For More

If we want better communication, better planning, and better results — it starts with participation.

Attend the meeting.
Make your voice heard.
Speak with your neighbors.

Because if owners don’t show up, nothing changes.
