Throwback to the days of glossy magazines. For those of you too young to remember, magazines were basically blogs printed on shiny paper.
None of this makes sense
Pressure cleaning the ceiling. Painting. Re-painting the garage. Yet after two and a half years, only one area has actually been worked on — conveniently the same area where our Board President parks her own cars, which only covers maybe 12% of the entire area.
Anyone else noticing a pattern here?
An obsession with garage appearance. Or perhaps just concern for the appearance around her own vehicles?

How about focusing on projects that benefit everyone?
Meanwhile, our friends and guests never even see the garage.
Perhaps painting the hallways, doors, and frames that residents and guests actually see every day.

RUSTED REBAR is like a FUNGUS
How about addressing exposed rebar in the garage structure itself?
As corrosion expands, it damages the surrounding concrete slab. Repairs become exponentially more expensive the longer they are ignored.

Painted Garage Floors
Before joining the board, Ms. Biletska reportedly pushed for painted garage floors.
Done correctly, that project would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Done incorrectly, it creates liability issues — including slippery surfaces where cars can slide into columns or other vehicles.
And even when done properly, garage floor coatings require constant maintenance and ongoing expense.

These photos are from a building only four years old. Large sections of the coating have already worn away.
That upkeep requires money. It also requires diligence and long-term planning.
Taken together with other recent board decisions, it becomes harder and harder for owners to feel confident that association money is being spent wisely
