Musical Elevators: The New Normal at Brickell Key One?
It happened again this morning. Another “Out of Service” email and sign.
We are now down to three working elevators for the entire building. The Board’s refusal to resolve the dispute with TKE or to at least repair then solve the dispute has moved past a simple “disagreement” and into a total disregard for our quality of life.
As a reminder this leaves only one elevator out of six that accesses the second floor garage.
The Comparison Test
Walk into any neighboring condo in Brickell. You won’t find residents huddled in lobbies waiting 15 minutes for a lift because half the bank is shuttered. These repairs could have been addressed months ago.
We pay for luxury living, but we are receiving “Musical Elevators” instead. It’s time to stop asking when they will be fixed and start asking the Board why they think this is acceptable.
